AFS Interculture is a volunteer-driven exchange organization that works to create good, intercultural experiences for our young foreign exchange students and their Danish host families. As a volunteer in AFS, you become part of a large volunteer network, where approximately 44,000 volunteers in more than 55 countries are working to promote intercultural understanding and learning across national borders. In AFS Aarhus we are a good group of committed volunteers who work with communication and PR. We mainly work to increase our knowledge of AFS and provide new host families to our exchange students.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who are passionate about communication, event planning and are full of good ideas. In addition, it is an advantage if you are interested in other cultures and want to collaborate across generations and backgrounds. How many hours you put in the work, only you know. In times it can be quite a few hours, and in others it may be some hours or more a week? Most importantly, we all get an experience of lifting in a bunch, and that the work gives room for each of us to be comfortably challenged with an interesting and evolving leisure activity.
AFS Interculture is part of the worldwide organization AFS Intercultural Programs. The foundation and driving force of the organization is its vast network of talented and committed volunteers who are responsible for the planning and implementation of the exchange programs. AFS Interculture is Denmark's largest and oldest exchange organization, and we are independent of economic, political and religious interests.
Frivilligjob.dk is Denmark's leading volunteer job portal.
Volunteering is for everyone - we welcome all applicants regardless of gender, ethnicity, nationality, social background, sexual orientation or religious background.
