We are looking for you who want to spread the headspace message on our social media Facebook and Instagram. We miss being able to present our cool volunteers, the good stories and our professional knowledge.
The role of SoMe manager
As a SoMe manager, you find it fun to work with Facebook and Instagram. You write well and can hit the target audience (s).
You have to be curious about headspace, the advice and social media - a journalistic curiosity to capture the good story. You may like to have many ideas and want to try and execute.
You must be able to work independently, but also be part of the communication team and the house, and are not afraid to ask for help or inspiration.
The tasks can vary greatly from covering visibility activities and advertising events on our social media, to making professional announcements on topics that move around the house, perhaps done in collaboration with advisors.
About headspace and the team
headspace is a free and anonymous counseling service for children and adolescents between the ages of 12 and 25. The young people come into headspace and have conversations with some of our many volunteer advisors where they can talk about big and small issues.
For the young people to get past headspace and have conversations, they need to know we exist. And here, headspace Roskilde's communications team comes into the picture. The team is responsible for our SoMe (Facebook and Instagram), sharing stories about young people and volunteers, making headspace visible and attending events and visibility visits.
We are looking for you, who are quick to make catchy posts, take the lead, are curious and maybe even a SoMe distress so we can spread the message even more about headspace.
The communication team cooperates a lot and you will not be alone about the tasks. There is always opportunity for sparring and help from the team - and also from other volunteers. We all put approx. 12 hours a month and we expect that you can too.
The extra that gets you started
To properly prepare to become part of headspace, we hold an intro weekend for all new volunteers. Here you will be taught what headspace stands for and what activities we hold.
At the center, we want to make sure you get off to a good start. know that you can attend meetings with the communication team, have guards in the house, where we can connect with experienced volunteers, and have a close dialogue with you about your wishes and competencies.
There is also the opportunity for ongoing sparring with the team, development of new ideas and professional development.
That sounds cool - what do I do now?
So if you are our new SoMe manager who, like us, wants to reach out and reach the young people and their networks on social media then post / call / send a video!
If you are interested in being part of headspace Roskilde as SoMe-responsible and at the same time get a lot of new skills - just to write on the CV (!) - then send an application and possibly. CV to Sif Thordis Søndergaard, who is a collaborator in headspace Roskilde. We will then invite you for a personal interview. Of course, you are also welcome to call to hear more or come by and see our cozy rooms at Musicon, Basgong 5, 4000 Roskilde (right at the Skaterhallen Hall 12).
