The care center Eirsgaard is a newly opened health service for the capital's homeless.
We have our own house at Amager, close to the ramparts, where we take care of everything from nursing to floor washing and cleaning. Most importantly, however, is to offer our citizens a pleasant stay, with hot coffee, cozy TV evenings and loving care.
We are looking for volunteer staff to help with the day-to-day running of the house. Since we are open 24 hours, there is the possibility that you can also come today and the evening hours, as well as on weekends and holidays. Guards are scheduled via our common calendar so that you can book in peace and quiet to the extent you have the opportunity.
As a volunteer, you will take guards with our citizens. Safe here is nice and nice, be with the citizens, make hot coffee and that the house is pretty much in full condition the day after. As a volunteer, it is both about being able to sit for an evening and watch TV, but also to be present to the citizens, conversation or support in some other way.
The care center Eirsgaard is part of the Red Cross Capital. We build on the Red Cross principles of humanity through voluntary efforts. Our volunteer program ensures that all volunteers are always equipped for the task. As a starting point, you will always have one of the house staff or experienced volunteers in hand. As a new volunteer, you will have an introduction and ongoing follow-up
If you are interested in having a volunteer job with meaning, challenges and learning, we look forward to hearing from you,
and don't worry. There are none of us singing very well, we can't tie kisses, we spilled coffee down the coats and then we get to laugh regularly.
