In the Red Cross Gundsø we work every day for the world's most vulnerable people. We are always on hand and step in when help is needed. For example, we have a well-prepared emergency that goes out in disasters, for example when the water rises and a quick and solid effort is needed to protect those living near the coast. Or when we give out Christmas help to financially needy families, and when our visiting service helps lonely people to visit and seek out local communities and create relationships that can help break the loneliness.

Most Danes know the Red Cross for the relief work we do abroad - and perhaps for our first aid activities in Denmark. But the knowledge of the entire scope of the Red Cross's relief work in Denmark, the opportunity to receive support from the Red Cross and to be part of the wide range of social tasks that the Red Cross promises, and that the Red Cross is always right about the corner, the fewer are known.
