In a green spot in southern Aarhus, close to the forest, holds 2. Højbjerg Gruppe with its approx. 100 more scouts. For our scouts aged 10-12, we are looking for one or two extra volunteers who will help give them some fresh challenges and good experiences.

As a scout leader , you help create outdoor activities for the scouts, which is a fun and educational way to gain experience with being with children. It can for example. be it to cook over bonfires, teach them to sleep in a tent or to be out in the dark, which can be a challenge for many of the little scouts. When we ask the children, it is the simple things that matter most to them: lots of play, fun and trouble with good friends! Over time, they appreciate more and more of everything they learn while having fun.

You don't need to have any knowledge of scouting as such, because we other leaders are ready to help you get started. The youngest scouts meet every Thursday from 5 p.m. 18.00-20.00 There is no requirement that you can come every time, and of course we take into account exams and other periods where it may be difficult to take time to attend. If you would like to work with another age group, you are also very welcome to contact us.

You will be part of a young and healthy leadership group, all aged 17-38, so in addition to the scouting experience, you will also be part of a strong community that is passionate about making a difference to a lot children and teenagers.
