Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke (Action Aid) is an organisation working for global equality and human rights. Our department in Aarhus is located in Mejlgade 53 in the house GLOBUS, a platform and hub for activism working for a more equal world.

As an campaign and event volunteer in the anti-discrimintation group we'll address different ways that discrimination can take place locally, challenge personal bias and fight to put anti-discrimination on national and local agendas.

This volunteer job is unpaid, but we can offer the following:

  • Be part of a large network of Danes and internationals from different backgrounds
  • Experience with event management, street activism and project coordination
  • Get involved with a lot of exciting social and professional events, including our internal meetings and parties (e.g. Summer and Christmas parties for our volunteers and members)
  • Become part of a bigger movement of social change and activism
  • The possibility to support a humanitarian project and contribute on other areas of MS Aarhus, with social and civil impact.

What do we expect

  • No prior skills needed, just enthusiasm
  • Clear communication on availability

If you are interested in becoming part of our volunteer team, please send us an email or  come by Cafe MellemFolk at Mejlgade 53 and we will have a chat about MS and how you see yourself fit into the organisation.
