The homework café is new and will start up in mid-November. It will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 19-21 at Resource Center Ydre Nørrebro (RCYN) on Tagensvej 85D.
It will be a place where there must be room to do homework, talk and be part of a community and have fun. It is a target group aged 13-18, but both younger and older users can come to the homework café. It is a homework café where a broad knowledge of subjects is needed - from Danish, English, history, but especially science subjects are in demand, so if you are keen on mathematics, physical or chemistry, then there are some children and young people, who need you.
Since it is a new homework café, which must be built from scratch, you will be involved right from the start, and therefore also have the opportunity to make your mark on the homework café.
As a volunteer, you must be able to take 1-2 shifts a week , and you must be 20 years old. In your application, you are also welcome to write which subjects you are strong in, so that we can get a wide range of knowledge so that we can help the young people in the best possible way.
There will be an introductory meeting with the volunteers on site on Thursday 12 November , and then starting on Monday 16 November . You are welcome to book these two dates right now.
You will be part of a large community in the Youth Red Cross, where you will be able to meet a lot of other young people, develop yourself, be offered various courses and events.
We are looking forward to hear from you!
