Unfortunately, after many years of faithful service, our current co-leader is looking for one or two new leaders for our family experience club as soon as possible. We therefore need you who have a sharp overview, are passionate about making a difference and who dare to take responsibility and lead a strong team of volunteers.

The purpose of the family experience clubs is to give vulnerable children and families the opportunity to have a respite, create a network and have a lot of positive memories in the best company, namely with other families in similar situations and our fantastic team of volunteers.

You will not be left alone with the tasks. As a volunteer club leader, you work closely with another leader, and it is your primary task to coordinate volunteer meetings, and help arrange, organize and participate in one monthly activity of 4-5 hours duration. The activities vary and can e.g. offer everything from cozy cinema trips to the many possibilities of outdoor life - last year we were, for example, at the Fjord Center and visiting Falck. In addition to a co-leader, the club consists of a strong team of 10-12 volunteers who get on well with each other and make an indispensable effort in the local work. In addition to the tours, the position also includes administrative work.

What does it require of you?

  • Planning and conducting activities with the volunteers
  • Preparation of budget and annual plan for the club
  • Budget reporting and impact measurement
  • Ensuring the club's development and operation
  • Leadership and motivation of the volunteers
  • Collaborate with the volunteers in the family experience club
  • Collaboration with the association's volunteer consultant and board
  • An educational background (a pediatric background such as educator, teacher, social worker, etc.)
  • In addition, we would like you to be from Randers or the surrounding area.

What can we offer you?

  • A strong community, new relationships and a strong network
  • Two annual management courses
  • Opportunity to make a difference for vulnerable families and children
  • Great influence on your work tasks
  • Opportunity to train and use your managerial skills

Can you recognize yourself in the above? Then send us your application as soon as possible by clicking "Contact organization"! We look forward to hearing from you 😊
