Welcome to Digital Friends!
In Digital Friends, you can become a volunteer. You will be the one who calls and start the conversation with your new arthritis friend. As a volunteer digital friend, you must be a member of the Danish Rheumatism Association. In return, you can help make a big difference for someone else with arthritis. You will also have the opportunity to become part of a network with other volunteer digital friends, and you can participate in our monthly start-up courses, where you will be dressed to be a digital friend. In addition, we regularly hold other relevant seminars for our volunteers.
Maybe you miss someone to talk to regularly at a time when the corona crisis is limiting our opportunities to be together. Maybe you have a lot of profits and want to share both experiences and thoughts with another rheumatologist. Maybe you are young with arthritis and miss turning it all around with someone who is in the same situation.

About the Volunteer Job
The Arthritis Association makes sure to match you according to age, interests or diagnosis - depending on what you each want and emphasize. Once a match has been found, you will both receive an email. It is your role as a volunteer to get in touch with your match within the first few days.
We suggest that you start by calling once a week and that you agree that you will talk together a total of 6-8 times for a maximum of one hour. You can always extend the agreement and increase or decrease the frequency.
If you have questions or want to know more, you can read about the project on the Danish Rheumatism Association's website.
