The Red Cross store at Bazar Vest is a modern and bright second-hand store. The store sells everything from clothes, books, furniture, trinkets, toys to children's clothes. The store is the largest Red Cross second-hand store in Aarhus, so there is plenty of space for great second-hand items. In addition, the store will also share its premises with a network house for the local community.

The store is an important prerequisite for the Aarhus department's social work. It contributes funds that make a wide range of activities possible. The store supports, among other things, activities that help women, lonely citizens and sick homeless people. Become a volunteer and help us help others.

As a volunteer in the clothing department, you help decide what is the hangers. If you wish, you can take part in the development of campaigns and unfold your decorative abilities in our beautiful exhibition (windows and shop). You will also provide customer service both on the floor and behind the register. 

As a volunteer in the clothing department, you will:

  • Sort clothes
  • Steam and prepare clothes for the store
  • Price the clothes
  • Serve customers at the register and in the store
  • Possibly. develop campaigns and decorate the store
