Who are you?
You have started the 3rd semester of your study, and then you want to use your professional and human skills to help our members. You need to have a positive mindset and keep an eye on the interplay between law and human living conditions. You must have good judgment and a good ethical compass and be a good team player. You will receive training and be supported by experienced counselors in the work so you for the opportunity to learn and build your professional network.
Who are we?
We provide concrete legal advice and case processing for members who have questions and problems with their tenancy. We place great emphasis on ethics and confidentiality around dealing with members' cases and internally about the office's work and will offer courses and advice on these topics. We have recently opened an office in Aalborg, which will be your primary workplace after the Corona restrictions are lifted. For now we work mostly from home, but you are welcome to use the office by appointment right now. . Some of the counseling will also take place on Skype, among others. The workplace is centrally located on Østerport 2 tv., 9000 Aalborg. We have bus stops 11, 17, 18, 39, S1 and 27N "outside our office", and then we have really good and free parking options right outside the door. See our website at www.lrrk.dk
You will have independent responsibility for your own affairs from start to finish and advise members on tenancy law issues. In this connection, you will i.a. should be responsible for correspondence between tenants, landlords, property administrators, lawyers, the Rent Board and the Residents' Complaints Board. You thus gain concrete and very useful competencies both professionally within tenancy law, but also legal advice and case processing in general. After their time with us, the majority of our former member advisers have been employed by major law firms, the police, auditing firms and consulting firms.
There will of course be the opportunity for professional sparring with both lawyers and our current volunteer member advisers in everyday life, and we will of course provide the necessary training. In addition, you will be invited to attend relevant tenancy law courses. We have a further increased focus on morality and ethics, as these are two important topics you must be able to navigate in the work you perform, as well as the advice you give our members.
Clarified by appointment and adapted to your studies and exam periods, but will basically be approximately 6 hours per week, primarily during the day.
It must be emphasized that the number of hours can easily be adapted to your studies - for example, it is possible to take more hours during holidays, while you may have fewer hours during exam periods.
