Ungdommens Folkemøde is a free and non-profit democracy festival that aims to inspire young people to actively participate in society. The public meeting is created by the Youth Bureau and run in collaboration with a lot of fantastic volunteers. We are inspired by the Folkemødet on Bornholm but have tailored the Youth Folkemøde to everyone who is and feels young.
At Ungdommens Folkemøde, there is room for new thinking, big dreams and dialogue about what today's society is and what wishes we have for the future.
Volunteers are an indispensable part of the Youth People's Meeting, and again this year we need skilled, committed volunteers to hold Europe's largest youth meeting for young people!
Varied work tasks
The tasks as a volunteer are many and varied and spread from 31 August to 13 September. For example, you can help build the whole square from grass to public meeting, you can sell food and drink to the festival guests or make it cozy for the other volunteers in the Volunteer City.
As a volunteer, you become part of a large community with a good mood and great creativity. You will gain insight into how to settle pop-up democracy on a large scale, and you will experience some of the greatest voices of the time.
We provide delicious food. snacks and coffee, nice UFM'21 clothes and various events and parties before and after the public meeting. The most important thing is that you get some completely unforgettable days filled with challenging and exciting work assignments in the company of a large team of interesting and committed people.
You must take at least one shift of approximately 7 hours in the period 31 August to 13 September - and preferably more! You will have an influence on time and work tasks, but we also hope that you will be flexible so that the big puzzle can go up. And then of course you have to bring your very best mood!
So take your friends, girlfriends and the whole hump-backed family under your arm and take part in the Youth Folkemøde 2021 in Valbyparken!

There must be room for everyone
The Youth People's Meeting must be a festival accessible to all young people regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexuality, political beliefs, social background and so on. This applies to volunteers as well as the participants. In collaboration with the Association of Young People with Disabilities, a special accessibility policy has been drawn up for UFM'21 based on clear information, accommodatingness and equality.
Frivilligjob.dk is Denmark's leading volunteer job portal.
Volunteering is for everyone - we welcome all applicants regardless of gender, ethnicity, nationality, social background, sexual orientation or religious background.
