Kaffe Karma is looking for volunteers who want to make a positive difference for the socially disadvantaged in Copenhagen.
As a volunteer in Kaffe Karma, you help to make a huge difference for the socially disadvantaged in Copenhagen and help them take the first steps into a working community and then build a bridge to the labor market.
Volunteer at Kaffe Karma
At Kaffe Karma, we are volunteers, homeless and mentally vulnerable who come together to serve a good cup of coffee from our specially designed coffee bikes. We create a community that gets socially disadvantaged people into work.
At Kaffe Karma, the employees become part of a community that is not only about selling coffee, but which also functions as a training ground. Here they get the opportunity in a flexible and safe environment, to regain faith in themselves and create a way out into the labor market. As a volunteer in Kaffe Karma, you help to support this, by creating security and not least through the relational efforts that you make with the coffee bike.
- Being a volunteer at the barista bikes: Together with an employee, you spread good karma and serve the coffee-thirsty customers at exciting events.
Who are you?
- You are passionate about helping socially disadvantaged citizens to have a meaningful everyday life.
- You are good at listening, and meet the employees at eye level.
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You can commit to taking a minimum of two shifts per month (lasting approximately four hours).
