Do you want to help ensure asylum children in Denmark better well-being and a fair trial?
Our Asylum Children are looking for people with competencies within fund applications, who will be able to help the association apply for relevant funds and funds, so that we can help more asylum-seeking children in Denmark.
About the task
Our Asylum Children is a voluntary association which offers free contact persons, legal advice and family treatment for asylum-seeking children and their families. In addition, the association looks after the asylum children's political interests, such as ensuring them better rights to education. The association is growing all the time as more and more children get stuck in the asylum system and therefore the association struggles to keep up with the demand and at present finds itself forced to reject children who need support due to lack of resources. The association is looking for funds to be able to establish activities for asylum-seeking children, among other things with the contact persons who are on each child who contact the association. Furthermore, money is sought to be able to establish a sustainable legal advice and family advice, which is not the case at present.
The fundraising team must:
- Select and prepare applications for relevant funds
- Be able to develop strategies for recruiting members and private donors as well as collaborate with our communication team to succeed with the task
- Be able to attend sparring meetings with our supervisor twice a month
Who are you?
- You have experience with fundraising or are a great at writing as well as learn quickly
- It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the asylum area and find it interesting
- You can work independently and for a minimum of 2-3 hours a week
- You have the courage to organize your working hours yourself
- You can commit to 6 months of volunteer work
- You can agree with the association's values
