We are looking for one or more volunteers who would like to work with communication in our department.
Your task will be to convey all the good stories that draw our community every day. Both the uplifting stories, such as when we distribute Christmas aid and help needy families, the difficult stories of people in need and certainly also the funny and crazy stories from our amazing community as Red Cross volunteers.
The Red Cross works to help the world's most vulnerable people - both abroad and in Denmark. We are always present and can step in where help is needed. This is the core vision of the Red Cross. In Denmark, the Red Cross has 204 branches throughout the country and 34,000 volunteers working for the vulnerable in Denmark. That is why there is always a Red Cross volunteer close to all Danes, and help is always just around the corner.
Most Danes know the Red Cross for the relief work we do abroad - and perhaps for our first aid activities in Denmark. But the knowledge of the full scope of the Red Cross 'relief work in Denmark, for the opportunity to receive support from the Red Cross and to be part of the wide range of social tasks that the Red Cross promises, and that the Red Cross' is always about the corner, fewer people know about.
We need to increase awareness of our broad, national efforts for vulnerable Danes, so that we can help even more Danes and recruit even more who can help. And we need you for that!
We would really like you to:
You do not have to be trained in communication or journalism to become part of our team, but have a desire and interest in social media, press work and similar communication work.
You get it out of it:
We can not offer you a salary - in return, we offer good experiences, a professional community and a strong feedback culture, so you can develop as a communicator.
If you need to know more, you are very welcome to contact us.
We look forward to meeting you 😊
