The Red Cross Cafés is a new offer under the Red Cross Capital, which aims to create a safe and nice space for everyone who is new to Denmark. The cafés function as a social meeting place for both children and adults, where the volunteers set up meaningful gatherings, initiate activities with the children, are helpful with informal questions about everyday life in Denmark and practical questions. In addition, the cafés provide the opportunity to meet others in a similar situation and create a network in Denmark.
The cafés take place in the Red Cross Capital's two cozy network houses in Nørrebro and in Tårnby. You do not have to be connected in both places.
The cafes are open four times a week for three hours. The desire is to have a duty officer at each café. We are therefore looking for 5-6 energetic volunteer guards.
