Red Cross Megastore Amager is a large second-hand shop in the middle of Amagerbrogade. The shop is run by about 40 volunteers, who together sort, price, exhibit and sell the goods at the checkout.
The range is very wide and ranges from furniture, kitchen items, books, music and all the way to our new colorful children's department. The goods come from private donors in the store and at Genbrugspladsen Kirstinehøj in Tårnby.
We each spend a penny we earn on helping other citizens in the Capital in one of our approximately 45 different activities ranging from Baby Network to the vigilance service.
Saturday is an important sales day and we just need you to stay more open and thereby help more people with the money we earn.
