Become a club leader and lead one of Save the Children's Family Experience Clubs

Right now we are looking for co-managers for our amazing Family Experience Clubs at Blårgårdsplads, Nordvest, and Bispebjerg.
The family experience clubs are our largest voluntary social effort in Denmark, where parents and children aged 5-12 years can make new friends and positive experiences.

• Competence-supporting courses and guidance and sparring from the local council and Save the Children's secretariat

We expect you to:

• Will help lead the family experience club and motivate and lead the volunteers
• Wants to make a difference for local children and families in vulnerable positions
• Can ensure a fun, safe and inclusive voluntary community
• Meets children and families at eye level and has an eye for involvement
• Is ready to handle administrative tasks in connection with running the club
• Participates in regular planning meetings once a month
• Willing to volunteer for at least 1 year

In the family experience clubs, club participants and volunteers meet once a month for shared experiences in the local area. The club is a safe and inclusive community, which forms the framework for, for example, forest trips, fishing trips, creative activities and celebrations of holidays such as Mardi Gras and Easter. The activities are held approx. 10 times a year, typically on a Saturday or Sunday and lasts approx. 3-4 hours.
