Become a treasurer of Save the Children Vestegnens Local Association

In Red Barnet Vestegnen, a dedicated and committed team of volunteers runs a number of activities for local children. We are responsible for the local efforts in 8 municipalities, work dynamically and innovatively and are one of the largest local associations in Save the Children.

As the association's treasurer, you spend around 2-3 hours a week handling the local association's financial management and being an active part of the local association's board.

You will take over a finance area in good condition and will receive an in-depth onboarding to the role and systems of our outgoing cashiers.

As a volunteer treasurer, you must, among other things :

• Be positive, dynamic and have a desire to make a difference for children and young people in vulnerable positions
• Be able to support and support the Local Association's activity managers in the start-up and operation of their efforts
• Desire to be part of Red Barnet Vestegnen's pleasant and committed volunteer team, who are jointly passionate about the tasks
• Willingness and opportunity to participate in board meetings
• Have good skills in figures, budgets, project management and annual reporting
• Have a full overview of the local association's finances and ensure that all the local association's financial obligations are met
