Become a volunteer coordinator in a homework café for vulnerable children

Who are we and what do we do?

The Youth Red Cross is Denmark's largest humanitarian youth organization. We are a voluntary, social organization that makes efforts for and with children and young people in Denmark and around the world.

For example, our homework café Klub Arena, which urgently needs a volunteer for coordination work, so that you/we can help as many children and young people as possible with their homework.

What do we expect?

We are looking for you who want to spend a few hours a month, and perhaps an afternoon once in a while, on the following:

• Create a schedule for our volunteers
• Make purchases for the homework café (forwarding receipts for purchases)
• Be in dialogue with our homework helpers and the educators at Klub Arena about visitor numbers etc
• Possibly. homework help

We are looking for you who are proactive, responsible and good at talking to many different types of people.

Virtually all work can be done from the mobile/computer, so you can solve the tasks on the go and use the train journey for something meaningful!

In addition, you control how much time you want to spend out at the homework café itself, so it is extremely flexible.

Please note that we would really like to see your application with us before 5 February, as there is an urgent need for a volunteer coordinator.
