Mødrehjælpen Nørrebro's store is located in Jægersborggade, one of the busiest and hippest streets in Nørrebro. All profits go to Mødrehjælpen's advice and activities for the local community's vulnerable families with children.
In the shop, we are lucky to receive many donations - and we always receive with a smile.
We only sell quality clothes and toys. Therefore, everything is sorted very thoroughly.
We have many large and small customers that we help and serve and build relationships with if there is a need for it.
Would you like to join?
We are about 25 volunteers. The shifts are either from 10.30-14.00 or from 14.00-17.30. You must be able to take 3 shifts per month and attend a monthly store meeting.
The shop is also a place to hang out, here you can also change your baby, sit in the nursing room or have a chat with one of the volunteers. Some families are referred from health nurses, schools in the local area, social workers etc.
You will receive a thorough introduction by our store manager. We have a new cash register that is very easy to operate.
