Come along when De Frivilliges Hus holds a course in natural social methods. On the course, you will be equipped to facilitate inclusive communities in nature, for young people with various vulnerabilities and challenges who are not necessarily used to being in nature.

The course is for you who would like to strengthen your skills in:

  • Fun activities in nature (you get an activity catalog with tailored activities that you can use, as well as access to gear)
  • Facilitating communities
  • Inclusion of young people with different challenges and vulnerabilities

The course also gives you the opportunity to meet other young people interested in nature and find new communities. After the course, there will be an opportunity to use your new knowledge and skills to do the activities in collaboration with voluntary associations that work with vulnerable young people. It may be that you want to become part of a permanent volunteer group, perhaps you and your friend want to be ambassadors and go out and inspire associations - or something else...

Meaningful Communities in Nature is a project where the goal is to create new communities using nature as a framework. Nature has many beneficial effects for us, both for our physical and mental health, and at the same time, nature can create good and spacious settings for a lot of fun and exciting activities that you can do together.

The goal is that young people who have psychological vulnerabilities or feel lonely find a way to use nature and participate in it
communities. In the project, we collaborate with voluntary associations that work with vulnerable young people and would like to be able to offer
activities and communities in nature.

Through courses, we equip new and existing volunteers to use nature-social methods to create activities in
nature for young people aged 16-30.

The project will be implemented in the period 2022-2024 with support from the Outdoor Council.
