St. Nicolai Tjenesten Fyn, part of the nationwide organization Sct. The Nicolai Service, and thus also part of the Church's crusader army, is looking for a new leader on 1 January 2023.
As a manager, you are currently in charge of approx. 50 volunteers and take on the organizational part of the voluntary work in the St Nicolai Service.
The St Nicolai Service is Denmark's oldest telephone service and currently counts approx. 350 volunteers nationwide.
The department on Funen is 65 years old and the volunteers on Funen are part of the nationwide work together with 7 other departments.
We are looking for a person who is passionate about voluntary work, passionate about helping the weakest in society, passionate about seeing his organization develop harmoniously and wants to further develop the telephone service.
You have previously engaged in voluntary work and you carry skills from your professional life into your voluntary work.
As head of the St Nicolai Service, you have the overall responsibility for
- Organization of the daily shift work
- Fundraising / state / municipality / private
- Further training of volunteers / social events
- A well-functioning board
As chairman, you are part of a board with a combined many years of experience and who will loyally assist you in your work. You are in charge of dedicated people who make a difference every day.
As head of the St Nicolai Service Fyn, you are the natural contact person on Fyn, for the other departments in the country and for the national secretariat in Copenhagen.
The work is, by its very nature, unpaid. The joy of helping other people is the reward in itself.
