Become a volunteer teacher at ReDI School for Digital Integration Aarhus!

ReDI School is a non-profit organization that offers IT and tech education and networking for women with refugee and immigrant backgrounds. Our purpose is to promote digital empowerment among women who want access to digital skills and networks in Denmark.

Do you want to help create more diversity and inclusion in the Danish labor market by strengthening women's digital skills and networks?

Our volunteer community is the magic that makes ReDI School create positive change in the world. As a volunteer, you support women with refugee and immigrant backgrounds in creating new opportunities for themselves in Denmark. You will have the opportunity to shape the courses in close collaboration with your fellow teachers, ReDI School staff and students. It's fun, exciting and gives you a lot of good experiences both professionally and socially.

You can teach:

• Computer for work (teaching in Danish)
  
  • Requires basic computer skills. You can help determine the content. Typically, students train using computers, e-mail, logging on to eboks, borger.dk, jobcenter.dk and the like.

and or

• Coding Fundamentals (underlining in English)
  • Requires basic knowledge of Python, HTML and JavaScript. You help determine the content.

and or

• Introduction to Data Analytics (teaching in English)
  
  • Requires basic knowledge of data analysis. You help determine the content.
    

and or

• Introduction to JavaScript (teaching in English)
  • Requires basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS. You help determine the content.

Practical information:

• The courses are held over 12 sessions.
• Classes are on Thursdays from 5.30-8.30pm.
• Possibility to teach 3-12 times per semester.
• The location is Aarhus C.
