We are looking for volunteers with flair and interest in communication for our communication team in Red Cross Køge. And this is where you come into the picture. Together with a few other volunteers, we need you in our communications team, where the task will be to convey all the good stories that our department draws every day. We dare to promise that you will not be bored, because there is always something fun, crazy, exciting or absolutely fantastic happening every day in the Red Cross. Will you help us tell the rest of the population about it?

Most Danes know the Red Cross for the aid work we do abroad - and perhaps for our first aid activities and shops in Denmark. But the knowledge of the entire extent of the Red Cross' aid work in Denmark, for the possibility of receiving support from the Red Cross and for being part of the wide range of social tasks that the Red Cross undertakes, as well as that the Red Cross is always just about corner, fewer people know about.

We need to increase awareness of our broad, national efforts for vulnerable Danes, so that we can help even more Danes and recruit even more who can help. And we need you for that!

We would very much like you to:

  • passionate about helping vulnerable Danes and others who need support
  • would like to volunteer a few hours a week
  • values community and team spirit

You do not need to be trained in communications or journalism to be part of the communications team, but you must have a desire and interest in social media, press work and similar communications work. The Red Cross national office helps you dress for the task to the extent you need.

This is what you get out of it:

  • You help the Red Cross in its work to help people all over the world.
  • You will become part of the department's communication team and gain experience with communication in the broadest sense.
  • You will have the opportunity to expand your communication skills and communication skills.
  • You expand your network and meet other volunteers and regular Red Cross employees.
  • You get an insight into and plenty of hands-on experience from the world's largest humanitarian aid organisation.

We cannot offer you a salary - in return, we offer good experiences, a professional community and a strong feedback culture, so that you can develop as a communicator.

The Red Cross works to help the world's most vulnerable people - both abroad and in Denmark. We are always present and can step in where help is needed. This is the core vision of the Red Cross. In Denmark, the Red Cross has 204 branches throughout the country and 34,000 volunteers who work for Denmark's vulnerable. That is why there is always a Red Cross volunteer close to all Danes, and help is always just around the corner.
