Outreach Specialist

Objective - As our new Outreach Expert, you will help us increase outreach and coordinate all outreach activities.

Tasks & responsibilities of the role - 

• Forge new and maintain existing relationships with community stakeholders (individuals, businesses, and institutions) and potential donors.
• Write content pieces, press releases, announcements, and newsletters, to inform the public about the organization's projects, services, and upcoming events
• Prepare public relations strategies to promote the organization's mission and services
• Collect and analyze data about local demographics, trends, and needs
• Collaborate with the public relations team to ensure community outreach and engagement activities are consistent with our brand and organization's culture
• Maintain an outreach database which details contacts, partnerships, and outreach activities
• Represent the organization by presenting at events, trade shows, universities, clubs etc.
• Engage with online communities to increase program awareness and engagement
• Organizing outreach events, including sales, marketing, and planning, to promote the services of the organization and receive donations.
• Well-versed in using youtube and other media channels as well as various broadcasters

Required skill set - 

• Experience in outreach (Must-have)
• Previous exposure to non-profit organizations (Nice-to-have)
• MS Office suite (Must-have)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills (Must-have)
• Experience with outreach internationally (Must-have)
• Network among broadcasters around the world (Nice-to-have)

Required language skills - 

• Fluent English in writing and verbally (Must-have)
• Danish for local contacts (Nice-to-have)

Required availability (per week, time of day) - 

• 10 hours per week minimum
• Preferably during daytime (CET)
