At FAKS, we are looking for people who would like to write short or longer texts and articles, which are used, among other things, used on the website.
The focus is on relevant topics aimed at people with chronic pain, relatives and the like. material. The texts are used on our website, in our newsletter SmerteLiv, social media, pamphlets and much more. It could, among other things, be article series about treatment methods, advice on pain management techniques, interviews, briefings from conferences/lectures and much more.
We have a lot of ideas - and hopefully you do too!
Who are you?
It is not a requirement that you have a professional background as a journalist or similar. We use many different types of texts - so everyone can contribute.
You can work 100% from home - but are certainly also welcome to use the facilities at our Secretariat (Albertslund)
Should you have the courage to translate Danish articles into other languages, we would also like to hear from you!

FAKS - The Association of Chronic Pain Sufferers and Relatives
FAKS is a patient association run exclusively by volunteers in both the board and local branches. We work to improve conditions for the more than 1.3 million people in Denmark who are affected by chronic pain and their relatives. This is done via health policy work, cooperation with healthcare institutions, general information, research and ensuring a safe environment for the members in, among other things, our local branches around the country - read more about FAKS
SmerteLinjen is a free telephone advice line for people with chronic pain and their relatives, which FAKS has run since 2014. We have more than 30 volunteers attached, whose backgrounds are social workers, pain nurses, psychology students, coaches, physiotherapists or people who themselves live with chronic pain.
