Right now, Save the Children is looking for volunteers to take a shift once a week at BARNETS BUTIK in Amager.
You don't need to have experience in store work - as long as you approach the task positively, contribute with good energy and do your part to make the store a pleasant place for both customers and volunteer colleagues, then we'll probably teach you the rest.
Your tasks will include, among other things, that:
- Make customers feel welcome in the store.
- Sort and prepare goods and set prices for the goods.
- Ensure that the shop is neat and clean when you are on duty.
As a store volunteer, you will have the opportunity to:
- Become part of a pleasant community of committed volunteers.
- Participate in the daily work in the store and meet new people.
- Acquire new knowledge and skills through our competence catalogue.
- Help make a difference in the lives of children and young people, as all profits from the store go to our work for children and young people in Denmark.

Our thrift stores are a sustainable concept where we sell used quality clothes, toys and equipment for children aged 0-12. With your voluntary efforts, you help make it all possible - together we are both passionate about the children's cause and about having a good time together.
