The women's walking club meets every Tuesday at 12.45-14.30 in Red Cross House West. From here the trip goes through the beautiful Hasle Bakker, where the women are used to walking in larger and smaller groups. We walk around in one hour.

The women have different minority backgrounds (Somali, Iranian, Afghan, etc.), are between 30-60 years old, and have diabetes or other health problems. Therefore, the walk is both really good for the women's health and social life! 😊

You share the responsibility with our skilled activity leader Luseadra, who has so far handled the trip alone. But everything is more fun and easier when there are more of you - and that's why we need you!

We imagine that you are:

  • female and over 25 years old
  • reliable and responsible
  • educational and welcoming, and would like to facilitate community and well-being among the women

In return, you get:

  • a wonderful community with other women
  • a fresh weekly walk with a good social purpose
  • support from the house's staff and Red Cross consultants
  • part of the Red Cross, which is the world's largest humanitarian organization
  • access to courses and festive events with other volunteers in Aarhus

Interested? Then we would like to invite you to a non-binding chat and a cup of coffee.
