We have a good team, but we need volunteers for both afternoon shifts from 13.15 – 17.30 and morning shifts from 09.00 – 13.30 most days of the week.

In the thrift store at Hovedgaden 39 in Birkerød, you don't need to have shop experience - we'll probably teach you that. You just have to approach the task positively, and be able to contribute to our shop being a nice place for both volunteers and customers to come.

The shop is well furnished, as well as nice and tidy. It is a good place to volunteer with spaciousness and high ceilings.

We have room for laughter, are hardworking and we get on very well with each other.

Would you like to be part of this amazing work? Then you can try it out for yourself by taking part in a trial shift, so you can see what we work with.

Your task:

There are many different tasks that you can choose from, for example:

  • Sorting and preparing the goods that we get donated. It can, for example, be clothes, hardware, books, furniture, music and electronics
  • Preparation of displays in the store
  • Furnishing and decoration in the store
  • Customer and checkout service

We help each other during the working day and lend a hand where needed.

We offer:

  • To become part of a large and successful store
  • Great focus on job satisfaction and community
  • Fun and humor while we work
  • Social events such as Christmas parties, shop meetings etc.
  • An enriching leisure activity
  • Introduction and training

Your working hours:

Most work a morning or afternoon shift 4 hours a week. We try to adapt to your wishes as far as possible.

We expect:

  • You are stable and want to work to promote good cooperation. In return, we can offer you a cozy and social community and all the coffee you can drink.
