We are looking for committed CPR instructors to teach our CPR courses - 30 minute intro to CPR. Your most important task will be to introduce participants to basic witness about the vital actions in a resuscitation situation. You will become part of our network of skilled instructors, and together you will help train more Danes to act in the event of a cardiac arrest.

Qualifications:

  • You are willing to participate in a two-day instructor course during a weekend.
  • You are in good physical shape and can participate actively in a demanding course where you will practice cardiac massage and resuscitation techniques.
  • You are a good communicator and can accurately and clearly pass on knowledge to the participants.
  • You are willing to teach at least 10 CPR courses over a period of 2 years.
  • You are willing to participate in minor administrative work, including registration of courses and coordination of teaching times.
  • You can contribute to the recruitment of course participants in your local area or network.

We offer:

  • A comprehensive free training as a certified instructor in resuscitation at the European Resuscitation Council (ERC).
  • Opportunity to participate as an instructor at various events and arrangements with a focus on cardiac arrest and resuscitation. Eg. The defibrillator day and Giv Liv instructor conference.
  • A strong community spirit with our network of around 300 active volunteer instructors.
  • Support and cooperation with the Heart Association in the organization of your courses as well as ongoing contact and dialogue.

Note: The courses are not offered to pupils in public schools, including private schools, independent schools and post-secondary schools.
