We are a non-profit tech school for the digital empowerment of women with migrant and refugee backgrounds. Our free programs provide IT and tech courses on multiple levels for women who seek to acquire digital skills and establish networks in Denmark.
Our volunteer community is the magic that helps ReDI School create a positive change in the world. As a volunteer career coach, you support women with refugee and immigrant backgrounds in creating new opportunities for themselves in Denmark. You will have the opportunity to shape their career journey in close collaboration with ReDI School staff and other supporters. It's fun, exciting and gives you a lot of good experiences both professionally and socially.
Your role as a career coach will include
- Career coaching sessions once or twice a month with ReDI students
- Helping with professional CV, LinkedIn, portfolio, etc.
- Facilitating sessions to talk about hopes, dreams, and future career plans
- Becoming part of our coaching community and being invited to social events
- Sharing your knowledge about the Danish job market*
*Tech and digital work experience is an advantage, but not a requirement
Practical information
Your commitment will be approximately 1-2 hours a month for 1:1 or group coaching
Career coaching will take place for 5 months between October and February
Online onboarding on October 3rd or October 10th at 20.00
Kick-off on October 23rd at 16.00
The location is Aarhus + online
