Do you want to be a practical helper for a group of young people from the Danish Handicap Association where the focal point is parasport?

The youth circle of the Danish Handicap Association organizes a themed weekend at Egmont high school 11-13. October 2024.

You will be tasked with providing practical help, e.g. in the form of giving a push, fetching coffee and cake, soft drinks, setting tables, filling up snacks, cleaning up, lending a hand in other ways

We are a group of crazy and fun young people aged 15-36 who are looking forward to a weekend together.

"Our purpose for the theme weekend is to show that sport is for everyone - including people with disabilities. On a theme weekend, we will inspire and motivate young people with disabilities to play sports and participate in the community that surrounds sports.

The target group for the theme weekend is young people with disabilities aged 15-36. These are both young people who do not play sports today, and young people who play sports, but would like to hear more about the possibilities. Young people with disabilities often find it difficult to participate in the local sports associations because the facilities are not available.

We expect 9 members from our board to attend our theme weekend, 6 helpers and 12 paying participants. The activities take place at Egmont High School and Hou Søsportscenter, which are located in Region Central Jutland. The participants are expected to come from all over the country."
