Right now we are looking for new volunteers for our family experience club in Vejle. The family experience clubs are our largest voluntary social effort in Denmark, where parents and children aged 5-12 can make new friends and have positive experiences. As a volunteer, you are part of a dedicated team of volunteers who together make a difference for local children and families.

We expect you to:

  • Is responsible, empathetic and spacious
  • Wants to make a difference for children and families in vulnerable positions
  • Will participate actively in planning and execution of trips and events
  • Can support a safe, fun and inclusive community
  • Will participate in at least 50% of the activities - i.e. at least 5 times a year, plus planning meetings in the volunteer team

In the family experience clubs, club participants and volunteers meet once a month for shared experiences in the local area. The club is a safe and inclusive community, which forms the framework for, for example, forest trips, fishing trips, creative activities and celebrations of holidays such as Mardi Gras and Easter. The activities are held approx. 10 times a year, typically on a Saturday or Sunday and lasts approx. 3-4 hours.
