DRC Danish Refugee Council is looking for a Persian-speaking volunteer network person

We are looking for a volunteer network person who speaks Persian and who has the time and desire to meet an older Iranian gentleman. You must have a positive outlook on life and be patient. Your tasks will include, among other things, help with practical everyday tasks, such as translating letters from authorities and doctors, as well as informal and pleasant socializing.

No special prerequisites are required to become a volunteer network person. The most important thing is that you have the desire and time to enter into an equal and supportive relationship.

Who are you?

• You are welcoming, patient and calm
• You speak Persian
• You have the option of meeting for a few hours a week or every other week and can commit for a minimum of six months
• You want to get to know another person and support them with what they need
• You live in Gladsaxe or the surrounding area (transport costs can be reimbursed)
