Vores Asylbørn is a small but impactful non-profit organisation committed to providing essential services and support to asylum-seeking children and families navigating the complexities of the asylum process, Family Law area and Child´s Law within the municipalities in Denmark. We believe that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment, and every family deserves the opportunity to live their lives with dignity.
Our services include:
- Legal Consultation: Providing expert guidance on the intersection of family and asylum law and child´s law securing the children's best interest in all matters. This includes navigating the processes, securing residency, developments, and available options within each case.
- Contact Persons & Family Treatment: Offering emotional support to asylum-seeking children and their families, aiming to enhance their well-being. This is achieved through the assistance of trained volunteers and psychologists, ensuring the specific needs of both children and families are met.
- Advocacy for Asylum-Seeking Children: Coordinating cross-organizational efforts to protect and advance the rights and living conditions of asylum-seeking children and their families in Denmark.
Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled volunteer interns to join our Communication Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping us connect with our diverse audiences and achieve our mission. You will contribute to various communication activities, including content creation, social media management, and digital marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibility will be to support digital marketing initiatives to increase our online visibility, reach and impact. You will achieve by participating in:
- Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative content in Danish for our website, newsletters, social media platforms, and other communication channels. Tailor content to resonate with specific target audiences.
- Social Media Management: Assist in managing our social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts, interacting with followers, and monitoring analytics. Help us grow our online communities and engagement.
- Membership & Fundraising Support: Assist in maintaining and growing our membership database. Contribute to fundraising efforts by creating compelling appeals and supporting online donation campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Danish. Ability to adapt communication styles to different audiences.
- Passion & Commitment: A strong interest in our mission and a willingness to contribute your time and skills to make a difference.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals, both in-person and remotely.
- Bonus: Prior experience in communications, marketing, or related fields, especially within the non-profit sector, is highly valued.
- It is considered an advantage but not a requirement to be digitally savvy. We would rather you have a desire and are proactive to learn these tools in tandem with the projects.
