Who are Young Ravens?

We are young people between the ages of 20 and 30 who create security in the nightlife and prevent behavior that crosses borders. That way, we're the sober friend in town who attends the party. Our ambition is to meet the young people at eye level, offer help where necessary and create a positive atmosphere in the city. Behind the scenes, we ensure that everything runs as it should, so that the volunteers can make a difference in the nightlife, have a great community and recruit more.

In Unge Raven, we have a strong community. We enjoy ourselves and have fun on the trips, while at the same time making a difference for young people in the nightlife. There is plenty of opportunity to participate in voluntary work teams, take part in cool projects and come up with good ideas for the effort.

What does the administrative role entail?
As an administrative volunteer, you can be part of one or more of our teams: recruitment, communication, tour coordination and event planning. So you can stand at the student fair at AU and talk about Young Ravens, hold volunteer interviews, make funny reels for Instagram, organize a bowling trip for the volunteers or anything else! Each team we meet approx. once a month and brainstorm on how we can make Unge Raven even cooler to volunteer in, as well as how people can hear more about us.

As a Young Raven you get:

  • Possibility of a written certificate of volunteering for the CV
  • Opportunity to gain experience with SoMe processes and communication
  • Opportunity to participate in courses on volunteering etc.
  • Possibility of courses in e.g. psychological and physical first aid and conflict management
  • Flexible voluntary work where you make a difference to other young people
  • A unique community with other young people - we hold e.g. joint events and an annual weekend trip

What does it require?

  • That you are between 20 and 30 years old
  • That you want to contribute to walking in the city in a new way
  • That you want to be part of a diverse and inclusive community
  • That you participate in a minimum of 8 activities in a year (trips, social events, meetings, etc.)
