In Café Join Us, you can help young people break out of dissatisfaction and loneliness

You can become part of one or more of our activities and tasks:

Host smaller networking groups to create a smooth transition to Café Join Us.

Be available in Café Join Us on the designated opening days and times. Create a safe and inclusive atmosphere for the café's participants with presence and conversations.

Plan and participate in various activities, such as communal cooking, game nights, quiz nights, creative activities and outings.

Support and strengthen relationships between the young adults and help them become part of the community. Contribute to developing the participants' self-esteem, skills and resources through the café's activities.

To be a companion for young people who need to be guided and accompanied to our activities.

Working hours: Café Join Us is open every second Friday evening at 18.30-21.30 and every 2 weeks afternoon cafe from 13.00-15.00. There will also be communal meals between 17.30 and 20.30 and in addition we plan four excursions during the year.

Purpose: Our purpose is to create meaningful communities for young adults and help them overcome loneliness and isolation. We also want to build bridges to other offers, support the participants' options for action, increase their self-esteem and create positive development in their lives.

How you can help: As a volunteer at Café Join Us, you can make a difference by supporting the young adults, participating actively in the café's activities and contributing to creating an inclusive environment. You can help give them successful experiences and strengthen their skills and resources, which they can take with them into the future.

Together we can contribute to creating a better future for the young adults who struggle with loneliness and isolation. We look forward to welcoming you as part of our team at Café Join Us.
