Become a Volunteer at Migrantcirklen - Copenhagen's New Refugee Community Space

Many refugees and asylum seekers in Denmark can experience loneliness and isolation because they have lost the support networks that most of us take for granted – our communities, colleagues, family, and friends.

That’s why we are launching Migrantcirklen – Copenhagen’s new community center for refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers. Every week, we open our doors to people who need social connection, Danish language classes, counseling, a warm meal, or simply a cup of coffee and a friendly chat to improve their English or Danish.

As a volunteer at Migrant Circle, you can help with cooking, childcare, events, communication, and café, among many other activities.

You don’t need any special experience or qualifications to volunteer, but if you have specific skills or ideas you’d like to contribute, feel free to include them in your application.

As a volunteer at Migrantcirklen we offer you:

• Development of your skills and experience in supporting families, youth, and seniors who need a network.
• A strong sense of community with other passionate volunteers, including events and gatherings for the volunteer team.
• Optional Arabic lessons
• Valuable insight into the current conditions of refugees and the asylum system in Denmark.
