Walking friend, cafe host

WHO ARE WE:

• We are a fairly newly established walking community in Greve.

• We want to get lots of people out and about, but we also place a lot of emphasis on the social side. Creating a positive, inclusive community is important to us.

• We are a self-organized group, created and approved in Greve Municipality's association portal and a Group on Facebook - Greve Gåvenner https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1EdZ1FeSJT/

• We are based in the most fantastic association house in Greve - Aktivhuset Olsbækken.

• All citizens of Greve are welcome (must be self-sufficient).

• Our goal is that everyone contributes a little and not a few volunteers who carry it all.

• Our motto: No one can do everything, but everyone can do something and together we can create a lot

WHAT WE OFFER:

• Walking offer:

• 1st walking days - fixed, -pop up

• 2. Walking events/walking races: -fixed -pop up

• Social offers:

• 1st cafe/coffee days -fixed, -pop up

• 2nd parties/events - fixed, - pop up

WHEN:

• Fixed offers are mainly on weekdays during the day.

• Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9.30 and at 12 there are regular walks.

• Between approx. 10 and 12(13) there is coffee and cookies/bread.

WHY:

• Why did Greve Gåvenner start up?

• We thought there was a lack of a walking offer for those who would like to walk during the day, where there is also the possibility of something social.

• There is also a lack of offers for those who may not be able to walk as far or as fast, or have some disabilities/challenges. That is why we have both fast and slower teams.

• We would also like to help make Aktivhuset Olsbækken (a community center) an open, active place where citizens of Greve can generally meet and feel welcome.

HOW:

• How to get involved.

• Fixed walking days - you just turn up at Aktivhuset.

• Some adhoc events require registration.
