About us
Migrantcirklen is Copenhagen’s new community space for refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers. We provide a welcoming place where migrants and refugees can find community, organize, build a network in Denmark and learn more about their rights.
Through our continuous program with community events, info meetings and skill sharing we aim to be a place where refugees can share strengths and support each other. Migrantcirklen is open to all refugees and migrants, regardless of their nationality, religion, gender, or ethnicity.
About you
We’re looking for a candidate with good communication skills who’s experienced in planning events. You also need to speak and understand either Danish or English.
If you’re proficient in other languages such as Arabic, Farsi, Somali, etc. it’s also a plus.
The internship
During the internship you’ll play an important role in spreading the word about our work, helping us reach those who need it. You will also work with our program coordinator, organizing events like cultural evenings, workshops, and info meetings about basic rights.
You don’t have to study anything specific to intern with us. The important thing is that you have genuine passion for our work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write newsletters.
- Manage social media platforms.
- Organize events (like film screenings, info meetings, and community dinners)
- Assist with fundraising and sponsor outreach.
The internship is unpaid, 20 hrs a week, starting in February or January.
