Become a scout leader at The Green Girl Scouts in Emdrup!
The Green Girl Scouts in Emdrup started in the spring of 2023 and already have lots of girls who love being scouts. Now we just need more adults who, like the scouts, are passionate about nature, play and fun in the Northwest's best girl community.
We are looking for scout leaders!
Are you ready to create outdoor activities for girls aged 6-9 with our experienced leader? Here's what you'll do:
- Hold scout meetings every Wednesday from 5:15 PM-6:45 PM.
- Plan scout meetings in the leadership team
- Plan and organize weekend trips and camps
- Be a role model for our youngest girls, with the courage and desire to answer all of life's big and small questions
What do you get out of it?
As a scout leader with us, you will become part of a small but strong community. You will get:
- Opportunity to strengthen your skills in pedagogy, leadership and conflict management
- Strengthen your skills in planning, instruction and communication
- A lot of great outdoor experiences with children, young people and other adults
- Help, sparring and courses so you are well prepared for the task
- Plus points on your CV
No scouting experience? No problem!
Come as you are! We'll make sure you're well-equipped along the way - we call that learning by doing! The most important thing is that you want to do activities with girls between 6-9 years old, have the courage and the desire to be part of a strong nationwide community just for girls and women. We'll make you an expert in lighting a fire, using a compass and sleeping in a tent.
