We are looking for committed advisory mentors to support children and young people aged 6-17 and their families.
As a counseling mentor, you use your professional skills to strengthen several different families through conversations and activities that support their mental health and well-being. We work from a holistic approach that embraces the bio-psycho-social aspects of the family's challenges, and together We create programs that promote well-being and mental health for the entire family. We are looking for professionals with a therapeutic background in this role, including:
OR students in one of the above programs
OR professionals with another relevant professional background (We are open🤷)
AND who is passionate about making a difference
As an advisory mentor, you will be provided with our premises at Sverigesgade 5, 5000 Odense C.

🕒 What does it require of you?
As a mentor, you can dedicate 3 to 6 hours a week for up to six months to support the families. In addition, you must be over 18 years old, have a clean child and criminal record, and be able to speak and write in Danish.
You must be motivated to engage in the role because you are passionate about helping children and young people who need support for a period of time to make good progress.

As an advisory mentor, you will have a flexible and meaningful role where you can really make a difference. You will have the opportunity to put your own stamp on the task and contribute to creating events and activities that strengthen both the well-being of the families and the cooperation among the volunteers.

About LIFE
The association LIViTrivsel, called LIV, works to promote mental health and well-being for children and young people. Last year, the association received funding from the Danish Social and Housing Authority for the project Med i LIVet. Our goal is clear: We are dedicated to helping children, young people and their families to create lasting positive changes in everyday life and strengthen their place in the community.
We offer you, who want to be a volunteer mentor in the Med i LIVet project, a unique opportunity to make a difference for children and families on Funen who are in a difficult life situation. Through meaningful and present work, you will become an important support person who helps families deal with challenges and for children and young people to participate in healthy communities.
