The Central America Committee (MAK) is a small NGO primarily run by volunteers. We work for solidarity and justice in Central America through partnerships, education and activism. To ensure strong financial management of our projects, we are looking for a volunteer with a flair for bookkeeping and accounting.
Your tasks will include:
✅ Continuous accounting of expenses and income
✅ Follow-up on budgets for projects and daily operations
✅ Preparation of financial reports and status statements
✅ Communication with our secretariat, board and project groups about financial matters
✅ Possible participation in fundraising and application work
We are looking for you who:
✔️ Have prior knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting or financial management
✔️ Works structured and detail-oriented
✔️ Have knowledge of or interest in financial systems such as Dinero or e-conomic
✔️ Want to be part of a committed volunteer community
