Migrantcirklen is a community space for refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers based at Lundtoftegade 73, Nørrebro.
The legal and practical web that affects the daily lives of our users is often complex and difficult to navigate. Therefore, one of our main tasks is to help navigate the rights, duties, and opportunities migrants and refugees possess in Denmark.
Our volunteer info team provides free and confidential help with the legal and practical issues that affecting their lives in Denmark. We also organize larger info meetings on topics relevant at the time (e.g., permanent residency, worker's rights, etc.). To strengthen our knowledge base and efforts, we are now expanding our team!
As a member of the info team, you will:
- Participate in meetings with our info team to address relevant issues, solutions, etc.
- Take notes and document the team's observations, questions, ideas, and conclusions so they are accessible and clear to the rest of the team
- Perform various ad hoc research tasks upon request, preparing small reports and summaries regarding specific issues.
- Communicate with relevant authorities and stakeholders related to these tasks.
We are looking for someone who:
✔ Is interested in the field of refugee and migration
✔ Can read and understand legal texts, as well as collect and structure data
✔ Has experience with research and analysis
✔ Can communicate complex topics clearly and precisely
✔ Works independently and in a structured manner
