We are looking for volunteers for our language café in Aarhus.
The language cafes aim to improve language skills and cultural understanding. They are held every other week at Café Mellemfolk in Mejlgade 53 in a cozy and informal setting. We are constantly looking for new volunteers, so if you want to be part of this cultural and educational community, you now have the opportunity to become part of our dedicated volunteer team.
As part of the language café group, you can help to:
- Participate in the creative concept development of the event
- Participate in the coordination work and help organize the upcoming language cafes
- Assist with practical tasks before and during the event
- Contribute to - or strengthen your language skills in Spanish and/or Danish
- At the same time, get the opportunity to meet people from different cultures
- Do promotional work on social media (SoMe)
Who is MAK?
The Central American Committee (MAK) is a solidarity organization that has worked to strengthen the social and political conditions in Central America since 1980. MAK actively supports the struggle for self-determination and social justice and prioritizes direct cooperation with popular organizations in Central America.
The Central America Committee has three main activities:
- Dispatch of work and solidarity brigades to Costa Rica and Guatemala
- Project work in Central America in collaboration with local partners
- Education and information work in Denmark
