A busy calendar is no obstacle. You don't commit to more than you can and want to.
The tasks as a visiting friend
- The most important task as a visiting friend is to be with the host. The central thing is the human encounter; the interest in the other, the togetherness and the coziness.
- As a visiting friend, you visit the host's home. And you might be lucky enough to bring good stories, joy and new horizons home with you.
- You spend the time you want to set aside, and you decide when and how often you come to visit.
We are looking for someone who:
- can and wants to meet with another person who needs social interaction
- Adhere to the agreements that you yourself help make
- Are over 18 years old

Possible time commitment: You decide when and how often you want to see each other. As a visiting friend, you usually come to visit every week or every other week.

Ældre Sagen is one of Denmark's largest volunteer organizations with a wide range of volunteer activities, and thus there are also many ways you can make a difference as a volunteer in Ældre Sagen. Common to all volunteer activities is that you are prepared for your volunteer role, either through your local activity leader, or through courses from the secretariat, and that as a volunteer you help make a big difference for people around you who need your help.
