Young people and students with concussions need you as an inspiration

Young people and students with concussions generally face different challenges than adults, as they do not have permanent jobs, insurance or have started a family. Students in particular can therefore feel very alone with their concussions, and this is where you can help.

Therefore, you can help

By sharing concrete and positive stories about concussions, you can help young people and students by:

  • Illustrate that you are not strange because you are fighting with a concussion.
  • Give courage that you can succeed in getting better.
  • Inspire to do very specific, big and small things that can help.

We help you on your way

At the Danish Concussion Association and our partners Pas På Hovedet, we do everything we can to help you get started.

  • You will receive training and sparring regarding concussions, social media and communication.
  • You can always stop by our hub in Copenhagen, where there are coffee on the pot workstations as well as volunteers and employees with the same commitment as you.
  • You will become part of our team with other young and younger people who work on the same things as you.

Your tasks

  • Collection, involvement and dissemination of inspiring stories and people.
  • Sharing your own experiences and/or the stories of others.
  • Coordination and selection of platforms, times and content.

It is relevant if you have

  • Practical and/or theoretical experience with communication on social media.
  • Personal and/or professional insight into issues relevant to concussion.
  • Empathetic and committed approach to people with concussions.

If you can commit yourself over a long period of time, you can also become part of our international collaboration with young people in Europe who are working on similar projects.

We hope to hear from you as soon as possible, as we will be putting full pressure on our youth efforts in the coming months and years.
