Imagine!

You are in the middle of a myriad of languages, laughter and new friendships. Together with ten other nations of 4 young people and 1 leader, you plan and experience activities that are about everything from identity and democracy to sustainability and cultural exchange. You are the one who guides, supports and inspires the young people – and you yourself get a network and experiences that will last a lifetime.

What does the job involve?

  • You are responsible for preparing and taking care of a delegation of four 14-year-olds from Funen and the central Jutland area.
  • You participate in training and preparation meetings before the camp.
  • You are at the camp on Amager, where you facilitate, support and participate in activities with young people and leaders from all over the world.
  • You will become a link between the camp, the young people and their families.

Who are you?

  • You are minimum 21. years of age.
  • You want to work with young people and create a safe, fun and developing environment.
  • You are curious about other cultures and have the courage to learn new things.
  • You don't need any special qualifications – just the desire and commitment.

What do you get out of it?

  • You will gain concrete experience in management, planning, collaboration and conflict resolution in an international environment.
  • You strengthen your skills in communication, cultural understanding, responsibility and problem solving - all of which count on your CV and in a job interview.
  • You will gain a global network, experiences of a lifetime and the opportunity to make a difference for young people and for peace work in practice.
  • It doesn't cost you anything but your time – travel, accommodation and food are covered. You just need to spend some time training and preparing with the delegation.

Practical

  • Period: July 11 – August 2, 2025 (as well as preparation and training beforehand).
  • Live near or are willing to travel to the Central Denmark/Funen area, so you must be able to meet them before the camp. (transportation is covered)
