We want to start a pottery class where children can express their creativity through the possibilities of clay. Since we do not have a kiln at the college, we are looking for a volunteer who either has access to a pottery kiln or can help us find solutions for firing the children's works.
Kolding Children's College is a vibrant house with exciting leisure activities for children aged 6-12. We believe that big things can be created in small ways, and by small people. The course will be held this autumn over 8-10 weeks (starting on 20 February), with classes once a week (Wednesday or Thursday) between 4.15pm and 6.45pm.
As a volunteer teacher, you will become an important part of our creative team and will be allowed to put your own stamp on the teaching. The focus will be on creating a safe and fun environment where the children can learn and experiment.

Have experience with ceramics/clay/shaping and perhaps also with teaching.
Is creative, patient and good at working with children.
